Day 10 – 24/7/2019 We packed up the tent and headed to the General! General Sherman is the largest tree (not tallest, but physical size/volume). This tree grows more in girth a year than most trees have in size total.
It is an extremely impressive tree.
After that, we when to climb Moro Rock. The normal access was closed. We took the longer (3 mile round trip) route to the summit. The views were good, if muted by the smoke and humidity.
After that, we hopped back in the Honda and headed to free campsite near Tahoe.
